What if love never feels safe?

What if love never feels safe? What if it was never, ever meant to give you that? What if no matter how many profound insights you have, how many amazingly powerful awakening experiences you collect, or how convinced you become that you have it all together, that you will always be at risk for the beloved to step in and transmute your world? To come in and through her primordial art of holy transmutation show you how vulnerable it really is here in the mandala of love?

For it is by way of this most sacred deflation that it is revealed to you once and for all that your vulnerability is not a weakness or a part of you that needs to be transcended or subjected to spiritual process, but rather is your gift to others and for open hearts everywhere.

Allow love to burn away the conceptual world. Get naked. Tear off your gown as the moon does at dawn, as the purple rose does as she is penetrated by the light. Get Gooey, Sticky. Messy. Fall apart and see what was never "together" to begin with. It takes no effort to be what you are. Die and be reborn, over and over and over again.

For when you are totally unclothed, of all of your spiritual concepts and certain knowing, love will show you what you are. When the known crumbles away, all that will remain is your burning heart. There is nothing more alive than that. There is nothing more sacred than that.
