A bridge to the unseen world

It is possible the most radical commitment you could ever make is to being kind to your immediate, embodied experience, as it is. When you set aside the habitual movement to heal, transform, transcend, or change your experience, a majestic energy is released. It is an energy that is new, unbearably creative, and utterly unprecedented. It is the energy of the unknown, come to deliver just one message: everything is valid here.

It may appear that your emotional world is working against you, but it has always been on your side. Your sadness is intelligent, alive, and full of information; it has something within it that joy could never offer. Your longing contains a frequency of wisdom, and serves as a bridge between you and the unseen world. Your burning and your confusion are the ways love is polishing you.

  2. Hi Matt, I just found you through Jeff Foster on fb and now I just started reading his new book tonight and saw your name in it so had to google you and here you are. I love this photo and really appreciate your recent thoughts--"your sadness is intelligent and has always been working for you." Something really lifts with that. I have recently become a certified facilitator of The Work of Byron Katie and am learning to see emotions differently. I really appreciate your whole hearted embracing.
Its so wonderful how when you finally hear something sane, it resonates!
