Meditation and Psychotherapy: An Online Training Course for Integrating Mindfulness into Clinical Practice

Friends, I wanted to let you know about a new online course with my friend Tara Brach, a really gifted therapist, meditation teacher, and just overall wonderful person. We'll be starting the course on March 25th, which will include a live session with Tara where you can ask questions about course material, though the course can also be taken at at time that is convenient for you, in an on-demand format. We will be offering Continuing Education credits for participation in the course; details to follow.

Learn more about Meditation and Psychotherapy here.

Whether you’re a counselor, psychotherapist, client in psychotherapy, teacher, coach, mentor, spiritual practitioner or anyone, really, with an interest in the nature of personal growth, psycho-emotional healing, or spiritual transformation, I highly recommend Tara’s work. Her book Radical Acceptance is one that I recommend regularly to clients and friends. I'm really happy to note that Tara will be joining us at this year's Wake Up Festival.

Included below are two video samples from the course.

It's encouraging to see articles such as this one, in The American Psychological Association's Psychotherapy journal, exploring the benefits of mindfulness in clinical practice:
